ABOUT ME

Hi, this is Josie. I’m 18 and am in my first year of university, studying physiology. I have multiple undiagnosed health problems, largely due to my time spent in mental health unit where I was subjected to a treatment model that harmed me instead of helping me.

I want to share what I have learned from my experiences with the mental health system, as well as my experience of being different in a society that could do a lot more to accommodate such differences.
